[Bug 8427] k3b locked up my ubuntu hoary totally when UDF DVD+RW is in the drive

I cannot reproduce the problem here. Did you use any specific option with mkudffs?
The only thing i notices is an extremely slow access to the DVD when running
k3bsetup
but that's due to k3b using his own scsi layer emulation/access.
