Hoary releases in about one week, and upgrading the ALSA subsystem now is
(remains) out of the question.

If, and only if, someone provides a version of this driver which is
unintrusively compatible with our current kernel within the next few days, the
kernel team can make a decision on whether to include it.  Otherwise, Hoary will
release with its current set of ALSA drivers.

If you have a personal interest in this card being supported for Hoary, your
contributions in this area would be most helpful.  Otherwise, we have pressing
bugs to fix in the software that we already have in Hoary.
