Just finished a badblock scan whilst working.  Once I've finished what I'm doing
I'll attempt a suspend again.

$ sudo badblocks -v /dev/hda
Checking blocks 0 to 39070080
Checking for bad blocks (read-only test): done
Pass completed, 0 bad blocks found.
