           Summary: pcc_acpi, sony_acpi and tcc1100-wmi are spuriously
                    loaded on an IBM T42
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: tklauser at access.unizh.ch
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

On my IBM T42 running Kubuntu Breezy, Kernel Version 2.6.12-9-686 the following
ACPI modules are spuriously loaded along with the correct ibm_acpi module
(showed by lsmod):

pcc_acpi
sony_acpi
tcc1100_wmi

I don't think these are needed on this machine. Even blacklisting them in
/etc/hotplug/blacklist doesn't help.
