The version supplied is old and freezes many machines. I suggest upgrading it to
0.2.8 plus fixes 57 OR using Denis' new made-for-kernel-inclusion drivers at
http://195.66.192.167/linux/acx_patches/

I would gladly become the acx100 module maintainer for Ubuntu if so desired.
