Summary: Breezy install fails on jfs-partition
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: amd64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: linux
AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: unikob at gmail.com
QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
This is very similar to bug https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16750
except I didn't setup a separate boot partition. I tried to install 20050930
daily build version of breezy and on second stage of install on boot I get:
FATAL: Module jfs not found.
mount: Mounting /dev/hda5 on /root failed: no such device
mount: Mounting /root/dev on /dev/.static/dev failed: no such file or directory
mount: Mounting /dev on /root/dev failed: no such file or directory
Target filesystem doesn't have /sbin/init.
And I am presented with busybox. Daily build install fine if choose ext3 and
mounts my /home nicely which is a separate jfs-partition.
