MOPTS is a parameter specific to the traditional LTSP boot process; it won't
have any effect on Ubuntu. There is currently no convenient way to pass extra
NFS mount options on Ubuntu (I didn't know about this feature of LTSP until now).
Oliver will be performing some tests to see if rsize/wsize works around the
problem, and if so, we will make it the default.
