Summary: Package upgrade removes non-Linux OS's from menu.lst
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: louis at levasseur.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Running Breezy, each new kernel update released causes the boot.lst to be
recreated. It is recreated such that my Windows entry (hd0,0), is removed.
Watching the update run, the script searches for linux boot partitions to add,
but does not check for other operating systems. Most recently, package
linux-image-2.6.12-9-386 caused this. (Installed version 2.6.12-9.20)
