I actually believe I may be experiencing bug 10579. I tried switching to the
binary driver, and haven't had a freeze for about 12 hours. Also, the symptoms
of this freeze are a bit different than before. My hub still shows a light for
my laptop during this freeze, and it didn't before. Maybe this is a difference
between the kernel and X freezing.

I'll see if it is still stable after a day or two. Can anyone try to repro this
without ati cards or using the binary driver?
