Hello

Same Problem here.
The solution for this problem in this thread
http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=76271
was to make /etc/init.d/hotkey-setup unexecutable.

I did
$ sudo update-rc.d -f hotkey-setup remove
yesterday und today after reboot I got this messages again:
Oct 23 04:08:43 localhost kernel: [4295073.195000] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed
(translated set 2, code 0x98 on isa0060/serio0).
Oct 23 04:08:43 localhost kernel: [4295073.195000] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes
e018 <keycode>' to make it known.
