Hi...

I have a month-old Apple Powerbook G4/15 inch screen/Combo drive/512Mb RAM, and
I've installed Ubuntu Breezy with the latest updates.
While suspend (by closing the lid) and resume mostly seem to work fine, I
regularly have problems with the built-in trackpad.
After resuming from a suspended state, the trackpad is frequently unusable. When
in this state the touchpad does respond to input,
but I have only about an inch or two
of horizontal motion of the mouse pointer, and no vertical motion whatsoever.
This makes X completely useless... The problem can be fixed by
switching to a terminal and running:
rmmod appletouch
modprobe appletouch
but this is hardly ideal. Either the driver should be fixed or this workaround
added to the hibernation scripts.

Thanks,
Peter
