Summary: New Kernel Hard Crash with Cisco VPN client when Network
                    Disappears
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kernel-package
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: matt at eisgr.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I realize that this is a "third-party app/module" but please communicate it to the
kernel developers. This is significant.
Cisco Clients tested: 4.6 and 4.7

Both versions work fine mostly. I run them over wireless to secure that traffic.
Once I lose the AP the laptop completely siezes. This happens when leaving to go home
as well as walking throughout the building, more times than not (ie. Roaming between
AP's doesn't do it, only loss of signal for a short period of time).

Thank you very much. This did not happen with any previous version of Kubuntu or
Ubuntu.
