Wireless button does not work on my Acer Ferrari 4005 but I also have had other wireless problems. On load, both wireless card and lan are detected, but wireless config does not find my (unsecure) wireless network. 
I can load Ubuntu with wired connection no problem, but then cannot configure wireless. Button does not work and no icon appears on screen to add WLAN0 or whatever, per instruction below.

Maybe I am doing it wrong, but there seems to be a problem.
