Does restricting the wifi speed to 11Mbit using
sudo iwconfig eth0 rate 11M
make the problem go away?

** Description changed:

  When set the essid via iwconfig and get an ipadress via dhclient the
  connection stays stable for about 1 minute. After that time no packages
  can be sent/received until I set the essid again (and dhclient again).
