Hi SpEnTBoY,

It seems that the guy running the site http://www.die-welt.net has made
the Wireless card in the IBM Thinkpad Z61m working. This is the same
notebook I'm using (see above). But he uses Debian.

This should give you some hope that it's possible in general to make
this card working.
