Currently running the patch created by Paul. Great that someone has
taken this problem seriously. All working well now, machine has been
running over the last two days. Hibernate, suspend also fine. Now all I
need to get sorted is 3D support ;)

Screen res 1400 x 1050
Colour depth 24 bit
