Heh.  I'm dropped into a ramdisk because Ubuntu cannot find my root
directory, so no access to dmesg.  However, I do have access to cmp so I
compared DSDT.aml (in the root directory) to the extracted
/proc/acpi/dsdl and found that they seem to match.

Bummer.  Either the DSDT is not the problem or my fixes weren't
sufficient.
