[Bug 57383] fn key no longer works on kernel

Apparently this worked on the -23 kernel with the patch posted here

According the the blog Bill Collins applied it and everything worked, I
am running the -26 kernel and it no longer works - when i press the key
in xev no event is registered. Is it possible to update this in the next
security release?
