[Bug 42572] Re: e1000 driver on thinkpad X60/T60 produces latency

I am having the same latency problem with OpenSuSE 10.1 using the
default kernel of 2.6.16.13-4-smp on the lenovo T60.  I have tried
loading the e1000-7.3.15.tar.gz package from intel with no change in
outcome.  I have also tried configuring a cisco vpn client using this
interface with no success which is to be expected.
