Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/30352

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
On today's i386 live CD, on a machine with two USB drives connected:

$ ls -l /proc/scsi/usb-storage/
Segmentation fault

strace ends with:

open("/proc/scsi/usb-storage/", O_RDONLY|O_NONBLOCK|O_LARGEFILE|O_DIRECTORY <unfinished ...>
+++ killed by SIGSEGV +++

This kills the live installer, and would probably kill the traditional
installer as well since it's dying in common code. I won't have access
to this precise setup after the end of the distro sprint (I'll have the
machine, but the USB drives are Tollef's), so it's probably best to let
me know soon if you need more information.
