[Bug 51642] Sluggish keyboard with 2.6.15-25

Public bug reported:

Ever since upgrading to 2.6.15-25, the keyboard response of my Fujitsu
Amilo P notebook is somewhat sluggish.  I had no keyboard problems with
2.6.15-22.  I see no strange error messages in the syslog, except for
this message:

Jul  3 00:51:21 localhost kernel: [17180738.092000] hda: cdrom_pc_intr:
The drive appears confused (ireason = 0x01)

which pops up every 30 seconds or so (the only reason I mention this,
which seems irrelevant, is because of potential IRQ problems).

I tried without any kernel options, as well as with

i8024.nomux ec_intr=0 pci=noacpi irqpoll

but to no avail.
