no, SATA disks attached to a VT8251 are not beeing detected at all (scsi
timeout from libata) because the VIA code in ahci.c stopped working with
some backported libata stuff. Instead now sata_via.c works for VT8251,
but only without the presence of the VIA modifications in ahci.c
I think you mixed this with some other bug ;-) ?
