I have found it. There is no ipw3945d-$(uname -r) for the latest kernels. But its present for the 2.6.15.23 I dont know why its not present for the latest kernels. -- Intel Pro Wireless 3945 is not detected with latest kernel update https://launchpad.net/bugs/52302
