funny enough, as already mentioned all together the channels do not play except the front left/rights.
However in xmms for instance if configured under > options > preferences > output plugin > ALSA 1.2.10 > configure > audio device setting - should you choose hw:0,0 hw:0,1 hw:0,2 it does play through other channels!!! So in theory it works :) wuld be great to get it to work all together now!
