[Bug 53365] Kernel timer resolution too low

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6-686-smp

The kernel timer resolution option in the stock kernel is too low for
MIDI. It is compiled with the option 250hz it should be 1000hz. Also
this gets changed from kernel release to kernel release.
