I just installed the 17 July 2006 build of the kernel 2.6.15-26-386 - this made no difference in this problem. Again, I had to revert to the 2.6.15-25-386 kernel. -- Sound misfunctions with kernel 2.6.15-26-386 on Jetway MB https://launchpad.net/bugs/53207
