Hi,

I have the same problem on an Ultra 10.  I have been unable to install
any distro based on the 2.6 kernel.  It always fails at "Booting
Linux....."  I note from above that an Edgy version of Ubuntu may be
available, I will check this out.

I can install Sarge, Aurora, Gentoo, but not Etch or Dapper.

I do not have a PC that I can try a network install from.
