[Bug 34508] Re: 2.6.15 kernel fails to boot on ppc machine

I've reported a similar (possibly the same) bug here:

This is happening to me using both Xubuntu and Ubuntu Server versions
6.06. Does anyone know how to fix this without already having Ubuntu
installed on the target machine?
