There should be someway to update or recreate a good initram without having
to rebuild.

>From what I gather from other initramfs-tools bugs, there probably was a
problem when upgrading from Breezy to Dapper on the order when udev and the
new kernel installed.  The initram file may have been built using the old
kernel using the new udev or the new kernel using the old udev.

Now that I have both the new kernel and new udev package, I don't uderstand
why 'sudo update-initramfs -u -k 2.6.15-23-686' wouldn't work.
