[Bug 49883] After update to computer doe not boot

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-25-k7

after the update to linux-image-2.6.15-25-k7 my computer does not boot.
(grub comes up then after selecting the kernel there is only a blank screen, nothing happens)
With linux-image-2.6.15-23-k7 it´s just fine.

It´s possibly only me but may not.

I do not use usplash, instead i use a framebuffer console for bootup.
I do not know which information are required to complete this bugreport, so just tell me i will provide the information.

I have ticked the "This bug is a security issue" because this is after a
security update. If this is wrong just change it.
