** Description changed:

- Well basically the title says it all, after the update to the newest
- kernel the Thinkpad WILL go to sleep, but it just will not resume from
- suspend. Hitting any combination of keys leads to no response. As for
- hibernation it seems to power down partially and the suspend led keeps
- flashing but it does not hibernate.
- 
- It only occurs with the newest kernel update (2.6.15-25-686) as with
- prior kernels everything worked properly..
+ Regression introduced with 2.6.15-25 (worked fine with all previous
+ kernels) - the machine will not wake up from suspend or hibernate.
+ Lifting the lid or pressing the power button has no effect - the machine
+ remains asleep.
