Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35145

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 linux-image-2.6.15-18-k7 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
powernow-k8 doesn't load on dapper (it did on breezy). Messages I could
catch:

/var/log/syslog:
Mar 16 02:01:15 sheep kernel: [4295947.539000] powernow-k8: MP systems not supported by PSB BIOS structure

/var/log/messages:
Mar 16 02:01:15 sheep kernel: [4296066.588000] powernow-k8: Found 1 AMD Athlon 64 / Opteron processors (version 1.50.4)

console:
FATAL: Error inserting powernow_k8 (/lib/modules/2.6.15-18-k7/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/powernow-k8.ko): No such device

the CPU is an AMD Sempron 3100+, which normally supports clock steps at
1000 and 1800 MHz. Mainboard Asus K8N-E Deluxe. With Bios-Version 1006 I
had 800MHz, with version 1011 (latest) 1800MHz now.
