Description:
I have an hp nx7010 running dapper.

In 2.6.15-18 both sleep to memory and hibernate to disk are broken.
Specifically the machine apparently goes to sleep OK and wakes most of
the way up.  Just after the machine would leave text mode the screen
goes black and stays that way.  It does not respond to SysRq, soft
power, or ctrl-alt-del.

Both functions work perfectly if I boot -16 or -17 instead, using the
same userspace software.

The problem is reproducible even if I come up in single user mode
without X, and even if I have no networking loaded.
