[Bug 35951] no audio output (card recognised)

Description:
After upgrading to 2.6.15-19-amd64-generic my ubuntu dapper doesn't play any sounds. Not when login is presented   after bootup, not on xmms, not on xine or vlc.
The "time"  is running, just nu sounds. In alsamixer (from command) or the volume control of the gnome desktop _none_ is muted. There should be output, but there isn't.
The irq's do count in the output of "procinfo"
Going back to 2.6.15-18-amd64-generic solves it for me.
Dell E310 emt64 p4-3Ghz with intel HD onboard audio card.
