[Bug 36622] No sound on iBook 2 rev. 2

Description:
The latest version where sound worked on the iBook 2 rev. 2 was linux-
image-2.6.15-12-powerpc. Every kernel after that refused to make any
sound using the alsa driver. The module snd_powermac gets loaded but no
kernel messages or everything else that says what could be wrong.
Starting the same system but using the 2.6.15-12 kernel shows that there
is something wrong with the kernel, as sound works then. The system is
ubuntu/dapper. The output of /proc/cpuinfo follows:
