Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/36955
Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
I installed Breezy and upgraded to Dapper. I am current with Dapper
(27/04/2006).
/dev/net/tun had permissions:
crw-rw---- 1 root root 10, 200 2006-03-27 12:29 /dev/net/tun
This means users can't use it with programs like Qemu. I chmoded it
go+rw and now I can use it. I'm not sure what the permissions should be
for security and use, but I shouldn't the user be able to access it?
