[Bug 34209] Re: 2.6.15-17-k7 doesn't boot on Athlon 2000+

I fixed my problem.  I was using breezy, added dapper repositories (and
pinned them to lower priority than breezy's), then did "aptitude install
-t dapper linux-image-2.6.15-17-k7".  I used to get away with upgrading
my kernel like this all the time in Debian.

Performing a full dist-upgrade made the problem go away.  I guess I
finally got caught mixing releases.
