I've tried various patched version of sony_acpi with no luck in terms of
being able to echo values to the acpi brightness node or getting it to
create an fnkeys node.

However I have mnanaged to get brightness control working on my FE11H
using smartdimmer which uses the hardware LCD brightness control present
in the Geforce Go 7400 card the laptop has.

Not sure how to integrate this with gnome power management though, or if
it's possible.
