I seem to have the same problem: after resume, the root partition is
mounted read-only about one time out of three. This is on a thinkpad
z60m. Checking the hardware using the ibm-provided utilities doesn't
show bad sectors or anything: and the problems started the very day I
moved from Breezy to Dapper.
