Please boot off a desktop cd and check if sound is inaudible by default.
If it isn't -- i.e., it's audible -- I need your
/proc/asound/card0/codec97\#0/ac97\#0-0+regs as an attachment. Please
also attach your current (inaudible) ac97\#0-0+regs . Be sure to label
them unambiguously, thanks.
