[Bug 63289] Serial port barely work on oldworld.

My native language is not english, but I will try to help.
To reproduce simply make a ppp connection with dialup or simply direct serial connection and the port will always operate in about half-speed (maybe  28 kbps) and will becaming irresponsible, sometimes the connection fail.
I don't may use 2.6.15 or 2.6.16 and 2.6.17 kernels because of this, the version that have my serial port semi-ok is 2.6.10 (ubuntu 5.04).
