I'd agree with ph8- it would be helpful to know which images are
supposed to work.

Since we've had several people use the Ubuntu 20060928 daily alternate
image, and report successes (barring the seperate ICH8 issue)... and
several other people using the same image, and instead reporting a
different (and consistant) problem still with the JMicron controller, it
seems that this fix may not be complete.  I'd be happy to test to prove
this one way or another...
