Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
I have atmel at76c505a based usb dongle that uses normal drivers from
linux-restricted-modules (those drivers are from at76c503a.berlios.de).
When I install network-manager and remove my device from
/etc/network/interfaces I couldn't manage it with NetworkManager - it
even couldn't locate it. wiki page
http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManagerHardware says that drivers from
atmelwlandriver.sf.net are not supported. But we are using better
drivers so they should work.
** Affects: network-manager (upstream)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
