[Bug 53053] kernel 2.6.15-26-386 wont load realtek RTL-8029

I upgraded a machine running breezy to dapper.
after booting the new kernel there was no way to load the module of my pci network card.
adding pci=routeirq in the kernel line in grub fixed the problem
