[Bug 49390] NO support for Intel GMA900 Integrated Video Controller

I have the Intel motherboard D915GLVG with integrated video using the
Intel GMA900 integrated graphics controller.

Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 OS freezes even trying to bring up the live CD. I've
also tried the safe graphics mode -- No luck there, either.

Googling shows NO ONE has been able to run Ubuntu on an Intel 915
motherboard.

HELP-HELP-HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really would like to install Ubuntu on this system. 

Could drivers for this integrated graphics controller be added to the
core Install/Live Ubuntu CD???????

Can we make this work, at all??????
