Public bug reported:

Hello,
I'm using Kubuntu Dapper Drake fully upgraded as of 14th February 2006. I'm running it on a Packard Bell Easynote R8720.
The problem I've got is with my PCMCIA SD card reader, a ENE CB-710 recognised by the kernel as stated in lspci

Well, when i insert an SD card in the slot, my keyboard fully stops
functioning, doesn't matter what I type I don't get any input. Mouse
works ok though, and everything else seems to work ok. When I take the
SD card out of the slot everything that I had been typing on the
keyboard gets input again.

These are last lines from dmesg

[4294780.009000] mmc0: Card removed during transfer!
[4294780.009000] mmc0: Resetting controller.

The logs tell me more or less the same /var/log/syslog

Feb 14 21:34:30 localhost kernel: [4296859.557000] mmc0: Card removed during transfer!
Feb 14 21:34:30 localhost kernel: [4296859.557000] mmc0: Resetting controller.

Feb 14 21:34:30 localhost kernel: [4296859.578000] mmc0: Resetting controller.

PCMCIA cards used to work but I havent tried them yet in 6.06, tried them in 5.10.
As I'm not sure where the error is exactly coming from I can't do any debug, if you can point me in any directions I'm willing to help, I really wanna see this working. Thanks for all your help and keep up the good work!

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Low
         Status: Unconfirmed
