[Bug 50031] confirmed on T20 with edgy

With the released Edgy LiveCD, a Thinkpad T20 needs "acpi=force" to
enable  apci at all, but suspending still fails to happen. Gnome-Power-
Manager writes a line to /var/log/messages that it is starting to
suspend, but nothing else visible happens.
