[Bug 69390] my wireless stopped working after edgy upgrade

I used ndiswrapper to setup my wireless as in tutorial on

worked great and I actually downloaded and installed the Edgy upgrade
wire wireless. After upgrade I got :

FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper
(/lib/modules/2.6.17-10-386/kernel/drivers/net/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper.ko):
Invalid argument

have exactly the same probs as the person who started this topic:

Tried to remove, download source and compile ndiswrapper again but now
the wireless card does not work.

Newbe to linux so hard to tell what went exactly wrong.

many people appear to have similar problem...
