Could people who are hitting this on edgy please try the following two
kernel parameters (one at a time and both together)

acpi_skip_timer_override
enable_8254_timer

and let me know if they change anything? It would be especially helpful
to know if enable_8254_timer makes your clock run twice as fast as it
should.
