I think I've found the problematic module! Please confirm this works:

sudo modprobe -r snd_seq_virmidi
sudo modprobe snd-rtctimer

I think snd_seq_virmidi is the problematic module because it's used by
snd_emux_synth and snd_emu10k1_synth which I don't use at all. In my
last post I said that snd_emu10k1_synth was the problem, but after
removing that module my system crashed as well 10 minutes after using
MIDI. After removing snd_seq_virmidi, it always works for me so far.

Also, I think snd-rtctimer has something to do with it: Whithout
loading/unloading it manually, it seems to be loaded each time it works,
and not loaded each time it doesn't.
